Benchmark Strategies Announces Promotion of Kate LeBlanc to Senior Associate, Public Relations
September 25, 2025 | BOSTON, MA — Benchmark Strategies, a leading consulting firm with a focus on public affairs and strategic communications, is excited to announce the promotion of Kate LeBlanc to Senior Associate, Public Relations.
Over the past two years with Benchmark Strategies, Kate has played a pivotal role in developing and executing client communications and elevating clients’ presence through high-impact news announcements and thought leadership. In her role as Senior Associate, she will take on a central role in shaping and executing communications strategies, strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, and leading public relations campaigns on behalf of Benchmark’s clients.

In addition to her work at Benchmark, Kate is also a board member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s City Awake network, bringing together emerging leaders from diverse industries and backgrounds to expand their networks, strengthen civic engagement, and shape a more inclusive, vibrant region. Kate is also a member of the Women’s Foundation of Massachusetts’ Emerging Leaders Network and serves as a Volunteer Pitch Coach for Social Capital Inc.’s Annual Youth Grant Pitch Contest.
Before joining Benchmark, Kate served as a Civic Fellow at the Close-Up Foundation in Washington, D.C. and worked on the University of Rhode Island’s External Relations and Communications team while earning dual degrees in journalism and political science. She has also built a portfolio as a freelance journalist across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with bylines in The Boston Globe and other notable publications. At URI, Kate was recognized with several honors, among them the Edgar Leduc Award for Public Service and the Journalism Department’s Wilbur Doctor Endowment.
