February 18, 2026 | BOSTON, MA — Benchmark Strategies, a leading consulting firm with a focus on public affairs and strategic communications, is excited to announce the promotion of Lauren Scribi to Senior Vice President, Public Affairs. 

Since joining Benchmark Strategies in January 2024, Lauren has played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s public affairs practice. Her extensive policy expertise, State House experience, and strategic mindset have helped Benchmark’s clients achieve meaningful results across Massachusetts state and local government.

In her new role as Senior Vice President, Lauren will serve as a key member of Benchmark’s Leadership Team, leading client engagements, driving business development efforts, and expanding national partnerships. She will oversee public sector consulting, lobbying, and strategic communications engagements, leading teams specializing in government relations, advisory services, and state and municipal advocacy. 

Before joining Benchmark, Lauren held a number of senior policy and government positions, including most recently serving as Director of Government Partnerships at Bird. Prior to Bird, Lauren was Director of Programs and Government Relations at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate and served as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators. Lauren holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Vermont and an M.A. in Magazine Journalism from Kingston University London. She currently serves on the External Advisory Board for UMass Boston’s Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy.
