About the Role
Produce press releases and media advisories.
Prepares public outreach materials, including speeches, fact sheets, press guidance, and blogs.
Conduct interviews to produce news and feature articles.
Responsible for submitting content to various publications in various formats to ensure widest dissemination of information.
Responsible for daily maintenance of social media websites to include scheduled and unscheduled posting on Facebook, Twitter, etc
Stays on top of client and industry news – leverages it for regular proactive outreach to reporters on behalf of clients
Assist Senior Vice President with planning, development and execution of community relations / outreach and public engagements.
Serve as Team Leader for assigned projects and events.
Draft and design different type of PR content (for example media announcements, newsletters and speeches)
Edit and proofread press releases, videos and presentations
Examine and document media coverage
Maintain contact databases and mailing lists with updates
Create project-specific media lists to support PR team
Perform a variety of different administrative tasks

This role requires the ability to handle a variety of projects at any one time as well as being able to respond quickly to clients, reporters and team requests. This role may require attendance at night (ZOOM) meetings. Applicants must be flexible and able to work beyond 9-5.
