Benchmark Strategies is proud to announce that Senior Public Affairs Associate, Nicole Herendeen, has been selected as one of the 40 under 40 leaders in the United States by the Irish Echo Newspaper.

The Irish Echo 40 under 40 awards honor the up-and-coming personalities of Irish America from every walk of life, and from every part of the nation.

This hugely popular event is a celebration of Irish and Irish Americans who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields of work before reaching the age of forty.

Since joining Benchmark in 2017, Nicole has managed public affairs campaigns for startups, local companies, and multinational corporations as well as helped facilitate a variety of international business delegation visits to Boston. Nicole also leads the firm’s Massachusetts public policy reporting practice.

“The 40 under 40 Irish Echo is a well-deserved recognition. Nicole continues to exemplify leadership and excellence in public affairs. I am fortunate that I have the opportunity to learn from Nicole every day at Benchmark Strategies,” says Patrick Bench, President of Benchmark Strategies.

Nicole is connected to the Irish American community through her engagement with the Boston Irish Business Association (BIBA). This recognition comes after Nicole was selected to participate in the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Boston’s Future Leaders (BFL) Program.

In February, Nicole will be honored via a virtual ceremony featuring keynote speaker Rachel Rollins, District Attorney of Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
